Over the next two months, Dr. Luetmer will step participants through an intensive immersion in understanding how food and the gut affect your overall health and immune system. Our bodies were not intended to be constantly bombarded with processed foods or complicated cocktails of over the counter and prescription drugs. The 8 sessions will run between 90 minutes to two hours each for a total course time of 12-16 hours and will also include two health assessments and detailed course notes and supporting materials.

The live courses will be scheduled at certain times but will also be recorded if you are unable to attend live.
Dates are currently set but time will be determined based on a survey of preferences.
The pre-recorded modules will be released to view at your convenience on those weeks.
There will also be worksheets and other educational sources made available each week.
A private facebook page for those in the class will be available for discussion, questions, recipe sharing, support, and more.
You will have access to a private page on our website that will serve as a library of all materials related to the course, including links to the live webinars and recordings of all sessions.
Week 1: Introduction Webinar - June 27 In this module, we will have a live, interactive webinar to discuss many aspects of food and health. This will include why the GI system is so important to health. We will also be discussing overall food guidance to help navigate the conflicting information regarding the best food plan for you. We will discuss oils in cooking and eating, processed foods and sweeteners, healthy drinks, and more. You will take a personal health assessment to see where you are currently at that we will repeat at the end of the course. We will also discuss a 30 day Elimination Food Plan we will all embark on together. Supplemental materials will be provided.
Week 2: Building an Unstoppable Mindset - RECORDING Released July 4 In this module you will learn very powerful exercises that will empower you to make life changes and decisions that will directly impact your health as well as your immune system health. You will also learn how to limit the negative thoughts that cause self-sabotage when you try to make lasting changes. This module will apply to all areas of your life as you strive to be a better version of yourself! This module will also include a video recording of safely navigating the grocery store as you shop with your health in mind - and a focus on the Elimination Food Plan shopping success.
Week 3: The Primary Action Step to feeling better quickly and introduction of the 5R’s to Gut Health - July 11 In this live module, we will be introducing the Elimination Diet that we will be starting this week and the session will include a Q&A. While an elimination diet may seem very restrictive, it is often the best way to feel better quickly as we often have food sensitivities we are not aware of or have been unable to pinpoint. We will also briefly discuss the 5R program we use for gut health and restoration. We will build on the 5R concept throughout the course. Our focus this week will be the 1st R: Remove. We will be focusing on removing possible offending foods with the elimination food plan - and we will also discuss how to get rid of other things that negatively impact the GI system.
Week 4: The 2nd R: Replace. Adding in the “good stuff” and the 3rd R: Reinoculation - July 18 In this module you will learn which foods the gut needs and relies on for gut health. We will also assess whether you need digestive enzymes or other key nutrients the GI tract relies on for optimal function. We will focus on creating an optimal microbiome in the GI tract for GI function as well as overall physical and mental health. This will include more DIY options as we look at prebiotics and probiotics. We will also discuss histamine and mast cells when we look at options like fermented foods.
Week 5: The 4th R: Repair. Sharing success - July 25 In this live module we are at the halfway point in the elimination food plan. We will share successes and challenges as we look at the final two weeks of the plan. We will focus on repairing the lining of the GI tract by discussing key nutrients that can often be in short supply in a compromised gut, such as zinc, antioxidants (e.g. vitamins A, C, and E), fish oil, and the amino acid glutamine. We will discuss how to get these in foods or supplements. This step is critical for the immune system.
Week 6: The 5th R: Rebalancing - RECORDING Released May 31 It is crucial to pay attention to lifestyle choices when it comes to GI health. Sleep, exercise, and stress can all affect the GI tract. Balancing those activities is important to an optimal digestive tract and proven, practical strategies to accomplish balance will be shared.
Week 7: Reintroduction Phase - August 1 Congratulations! You are at the end of the Elimination Food Plan phase! We will be discussing how to reintroduce food groups, signs and symptoms to watch for reactions, and how to proceed forward. You will retake the health assessment and compare to your score prior to these steps. This will be a live interactive module.
Week 8: Creating lifelong, permanent transformations for your GI tract and overall health - RECORDING Released August 8 In this module we will review the important lessons and concepts we previously discussed, and empower you to continue the journey to better GI health. We will give you a blueprint for continuing to follow a plan that will create permanent transformations for your GI health as well as overall physical and mental health.
Bonus Session: Final Q&A - LIVE Date and time to be voted on by attendees We will take a poll and decide when the last Q&A will occur - in order to truly support your ongoing efforts and answer questions that may come up as you reintroduce foods and move forward.
