Good Morning!
"Disease starts in the lymph, it ends up in the blood" Did you know that the average person has 2 times more lymph fluid than blood? The body produces several gallons of lymph per day as a result of cellular waste products. The lymphatic system is the sewage system of the body. Unlike the blood, the lymph does not have a dedicated pump like the heart, it relies on movement to move these toxins away from the cells. Every cell in the body is surrounded by three things, blood, lymph, and nerve tissue. It is critical to remove waste for the cell to work properly. Many people mistake lymph stagnation with water retention or fat. There are several ways to improve lymph drainage such as dry brushing, walking/jogging, massage, using a rebounder, and hot/cold showers. Here is the link for an article that has additional tips on how to promote lymphatic drainage. One great way to drain lymph is to use a rebounder for 5-10 minutes every day. They are cheap, effective, fun, and great for building muscle and bone strength at the same time. To create health, we must first make room for it by removing the waste products effectively. Turn on your favorite song and bounce away! While there are several different brands of rebounders, start with an affordable one. TIP: Be sure to keep your rebounder out in the open so that it reminds you to use it. |
