Today we will discuss a morning routine.
Hal Elrod’s book Miracle Morning is a great way to learn effective ways to incorporate this into your day. I highly recommend the book and his website. He also has a 30 day challenge to start this important time. He recently also came out with an app - with a one-time fee (no monthly fees!).
The morning routine is a great way to incorporate many of the ideas we have discussed so far into one block of time - right away before the day gets away from us. You can get your morning sun, time in the PSNS, exercise, affirmation and more. You could also use this time to do the nervous system exercises discussed earlier.
Here is a rough guideline to use to structure your morning - but remember to adapt however you want it and can make it work!
S - silence (meditation, prayer, guided imagery, …..)
A - Affirmations
V - visualizations
E - Exercise
R - reading
S - scribe - journaling
