Welcome to Day 22!
Today we will talk about affirmations.
Brain pathways:
  • We have thousands of thoughts a day - many negative.
  • These thoughts often create pathways - that direct our current and future behaviors and actions.
  • We create limiting beliefs about who we are and what we can accomplish.
  • We often think and judge our ability to do hard things based on past experiences.
    • This happens subconsciously as well
  • Affirmations can help reprogram these pathways.  
  • Affirmation can help overcome limiting beliefs, fears and insecurities, and guilt.
  • Allow us to design our mindset, thoughts, beliefs and focus on improving.
  • Affirmations can help us define who we want to be, and what we want to accomplish.  

Affirmations:
Repeat and do them daily.
Start small and doable - increase and change as you progress.
Use emotions in them.
Stand tall, say them out loud or even shout them.   Mean them and believe them!
Some people record them, listen throughout the day.
Write them on post-its and reminders.

Examples:
I am reclaiming my health and vitality
My mitochondria are growing stronger
I am repairing my brain
I choose to eat for a healthier brain and body
I surround myself with people that support my journey
