Today we will discuss the importance of getting sunlight, fresh outside air and grounding- to maximize our genetics and our general health.
Sunlight: Sunlight is important to our health in multiple ways, including vitamin D synthesis. I encourage you to get some daily sunlight, even if it is from the indoors. Outside sunlight daily is great if it is safe (temperature). Sunlight to your eyes is important in the morning to set the circadian rhythm. Fresh Air:
Try to get outside for fresh air daily - even if it is just a short time. Try to find movement and exercises that you enjoy outside - so you can double up on your health actions. Grounding:
Grounding is connecting with the earth and has many healing properties This is difficult in winter, but can be done safely most other seasons. I encourage this practice when it can be done. |
Note: if video playback is jerky, it likely means the video is buffering and waiting for your internet to catch up. If this happens, just hit the download icon (down arrow in lower right hand corner of video) and watch once it downloads. You can also tap the double arrow icon to put the video in full screen mode.
