Welcome to Day 1!
Good Morning!

We will be discussing how the nervous system is so critical to our overall health and why this will be a main focus of this 30 day challenge.  

Some of the information discussed:
  1. Our overall health relies on a healthy nervous system
  2. Our nervous system has input all day and presents the interpretation to our consciousness.  
  3. This interpretation as well as the pathways drives our hormones (adrenal, thyroid, sex, leptin, insulin and ghrelin)
  4. This drives our metabolic pathways
  5. This can turn genes on and off. This explains why a stressful event or time period often precedes an illness/disease.
  6. The brain affects the gut barrier - and can create a leaky gut. 
If you have any chronic health issues or want to avoid health issues, we have to take a look at our nervous system, our stress, our autonomic pathways and we need to actively work on stress reduction, calming the nervous system as well as rewiring, retraining and activating the brain.  
 
We often need to calm the nervous system before we can move on and be successful with other treatments.
