Welcome to Flourish Health!

It has always been my dream to practice medicine in an integrative, holistic, person-centered way.  That dream has  come true with Flourish Health. ​

​I am a family practice board certified physician who has worked in the Alexandria Lakes Area for the past 20 years in general family medicine as well as urgent care and acute care.  I started my functional medicine journey five years ago when I realized that the Western Medicine model alone was simply not working for many of my patients, as well as my own family members.  Subsequently, I completed the coursework through the Institute for Functional Medicine.  In addition, I have taken Chris Kresser’s year-long Functional Medicine course, Deanna Minich’s Rainbow nutrition course, as well as many other educational courses. I continue to devote about 30% of my time to ongoing education and research. See my full list of credentials here.

I am so excited to share that knowledge and use it to help others on their journey to flourish!  Health is so much more than the absence of disease.  It is about embracing who we are and maximizing our genetic and God given gifts to be the best version of ourselves so we can impact the world around us.  It is my goal to take a personal journey with each of my patients to truly embrace full health and wellness.  ​
